Liposuction for Male Patients

In some cases, health insurance may reimburse men who are seeking liposuction for gynecomastia or other health conditions that can be treated with this procedure.

Cost is an important thing for patients to consider, but the quality of the final results are by far the most important consideration, no matter what your budget. Many patients don’t consider the possibility of needing revisional-surgery as a potential cost associated with choosing the cheapest liposuction option.

We do not offer the cheapest liposuction procedures, but we do offer the highest-quality liposuction surgeries at the most reasonable prices in the state, given our doctors’ knowledge and skill at performing liposuction. We don’t pressure patients with follow-up calls or high-pressure sales tactics. The price of each liposuction produce is quoted face-to-face during the initial consultation when patients meet doctors personally at our clinic.

How much does Male Lipo cost?

The average cost of a liposuction surgery performed near the Chicago area is about $6000, but the average cost of liposuction throughout the state of Illinois ranges from $2,500 to $12,000 depending on the area of the body that’s being targeted, the skill of the surgeon performing the procedure, and the clinic where the procedure is performed. We offer reasonable, straightforward pricing along with the most knowledgeable and skilled liposuction surgeons in the entire Southwest.

Here’s an example of our liposuction pricing structure:

We give discounts to patients who wish to target several different areas of the body with liposuction. So, if an average-sized man (5’9” and 195 pounds) wanted liposuction to treat gynecomastia, the cost would be $4000. A man who is larger or who has more fat to be removed from his body would be charged 10-15% more. A man who has less fat than the example man would be charged 10-15% less.

If the example man wanted to target his abdomen as well, we would offer him a discount and only charge another $1000-1500 for the added target area for a grand total of $5000-5500 for both the gynecomastia surgery and liposuction on the abdomen.

Is Male Liposuction right for me?

In the United States, liposuction is the most common cosmetic surgical procedure performed for a reason: it works and the results are dramatic, particularly for the right patients. But are you a good candidate for liposuction?

The right patient has certain important qualities. I look for patients who have realistic expectations about liposuction and what it can do for them. This procedure isn’t for everyone, but there are several things I look for in the ideal liposuction patient:

  • You should be over the age of 18 years.
  • You should be healthy.
  • You should be within 25 pounds of your ideal weight.
  • You should not be a smoker.
  • You should not have any major medical conditions.

Liposuction Before and After

If you meet the above requirements, chances are, liposuction surgery is a good fit for you and you’ll see good results from it! Liposuction is a procedure that appeals to a lot of men today because it can produce a dramatic transformation in the head-to-toe appearance of the body. If you’re unhappy with how your body is proportioned (for example, if you have gynecomastia along with too much weight around the mid-section), then liposuction might be a good choice for you.

My proprietary procedure, liposuction, is geared especially at creating a toned, fit appearance to the body. This procedure is ideal for patients who are at or close to their ideal weight. If your primary goal is to lose weight, liposuction is not the recommended surgical procedure for you. I prioritize the contouring of my patients’ existing proportions over the removal of fat, so often, patients lose only a small amount of weight as a result of this procedure. My first goal is always to sculpt the fat stores that will be left behind after the procedure so as to create a toned, fit appearance and second to remove fat that does not complement the patient’s overall proportions.

Men’s Top 5 Body Areas That Can Be Treated with Liposuction

Liposuction can be done on almost any area of the body except around the eyes and in areas where the skin is very loose or thin. Many of our patients opt to target more than one area of the body during their liposuction procedure because we offer discounts for multiple target areas and because, by targeting multiple areas, patients see much more pronounced results. There’s no real limit to the number of areas of the body that can be targeted in one liposuction session, but there is a limit to the amount of fat that can be removed from the body at one time. This limit varies from one patient to the next depending on their weight and stature.

Male Breast Reduction/Gynecomastia

Liposuction is an important treatment option for gynecomastia. Often, patients will combine gynecomastia treatment with abdominal liposuction.

Abdomen

Abdominal fat is often resistant to diet and exercise, but it is easily targeted using liposuction.

Flanks

Love handles are a common problem for men. Liposuction can be used to create a sculpted, toned overall appearance to a man’s body by targeting the love handles.

Double Chin

Chin fat is particularly resistant to dieting and exercise. Getting rid of chin fat makes a man’s face more masculine which can have a significant impact on his overall body image.

Cheeks and Jowls

Targeting excess facial fat can have a slimming effect on the whole body.
